Marmaray Line Üsküdar Station

The new Marmaray metro line is the first metro to run underneath the Bosphorus offering services that run independently of the weather conditions in the Bosphorus. During the winter sometimes the Bosphorus ferries are suspended due to foggy and windy conditions.

The Marmaray links the main areas of both the Asian and European sides of Istanbul. It is also connected to the outer suburban lines so opening up rapid transit across the edges of the Istanbul Main City Area.
